Entries are filed under one of 22 editorial desks, each covering a distinct sector — from Motors & Motorists to Press, Media & Publications. Think of each desk as a beat assignment: a named area of coverage with its own inventory of sources.

Use the Add a Site form, select the most relevant desk for your site, and complete the short submission fields. The editorial team reviews each entry and, if approved, files it under the chosen category.

Yes. Every submitted site passes a basic editorial check — the domain must resolve, the content must be identifiable, and the entry must not duplicate an existing filing. Sites that do not meet these criteria are not approved.

Review times vary. Most submissions are assessed within a few business days. You will not receive an automated confirmation email, but approved sites appear on the wire once the editorial check is complete.

The directory does not currently offer a self-service update form. If your site details have changed significantly, you may submit a new entry. Duplicate domains are handled during the editorial review.

Journal accepts any legitimate website with identifiable content. The 22 desks cover a wide range of sectors, so most genuine operators will find a relevant category. Sites that cannot be categorised under a named desk may be filed under General & Miscellaneous.
